Ph.D. Student - Ecology and Evolution
University of Chicago
I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Chicago, where I study the mechanisms underlying urban adaptation in Lepidoptera. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from New York University in 2025 and began my graduate training that same year. My research explores how urban pollution alters plant chemistry, driving responses in Pieris rapae through bottom-up ecological pathways. More broadly, my goal is to understand how urban ecosystems influence the evolutionary trajectories of insects.Â
